~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fox, as he was affectionately known to his friends and family,
follows a daughter, White Feather, - a son, White Bear,
and the love of his life journey, his wife Morning Star, in passing over the great divide.
He is survived by two daughters, Raven Hawk (husband Danny) - Summer Rain and
a son, Grey "Thunder" Feather.
Also one grand-daughter, Summer Star Storm (Stormy), and one grandson, Shorty.
He also leaves behind him many special friends and many wounded hearts - many who loved him and will always remember him.
~~~~~~

There once was a very wise and great man who walked this Earth Journey --
And touched many lives along the way.
He now walks in two worlds.
He will be greatly missed by all.
He will never be forgotten by those who knew - and loved - him
.

~~~~~~
Thank you all for your kindness and well wishes during a very trying time in our lives.
We hope that all of you know how much it has meant to us........
even though there is now a hole in our hearts that nothing could ever fill again.
Dad was very special - as anyone who ever met him could tell you..........
and he always thought of each of you as very special also.
RAVEN HAWK and family
When you love someone so much it hurts - you still must let them go.
And I know that Dad is now with my mom,
Morning Star -
and both are one again.
In Memory
Words cannot express the loss this Earth suffered when this great man passed over.
But in our hearts we know he is always with us - just a whisper away.
A very loving, caring, supporting man - who will be missed by many people - of all nations.
D.
Brother, Husband, Father, Uncle, Friend, Teacher, Healer of the People.
One who has traveled between worlds many times - and yet remains humble and true to his People.
Words cannot express his greatness - or the tremendous difference he made in many lives. His work will not soon be forgotten - and his thoughtfulness will be appreciated forever.
We look forward to meeting again - on our next journey - and working together "as one" once more.
Bear
There are no words to describe the amount of love and passion that Fox had for his People....and to him all human-beings were his People. I do not believe he ever - at any time during his Earth Journey - turned his face away from anyone who needed his help. He was a very giving and knowledgeable man - who wanted nothing more than to help others find their way in this world.
He was a wonderful family man - and always put his family needs above any others. He was an insightful being - with a heart as big as the sky.
Fox, my beloved and true old friend -- some may think that you are gone, but I know that is not true. I see you in the mountains - where we camped and laughed - and sometimes cried. I see you in the waters - where we respectfully sang prayers. I see you in the fire - where we often sent up prayers and worked together. I know you are in the wind - and ever ready to help still. And my brother, I will see you on the other side - and we will dance - and sing - and celebrate, my friend. Because we know there is no death - that there is only a transition to better and bigger things. Stay safe beneath the wings of our Sister the Owl, Fox, until we meet again.
What can one say about a man of such stature. Fox always treated me as his own daughter.......he never condemned or mistreated anyone and was the most patient, caring person I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He could make you feel ashamed of the smallest things - but at the same time, just as proud of the larger things.
I will never forget the first time he taught me to "talk to the trees" and to "listen to the stones" in the river nearby. He was so patient with such a disbeliever as I was - and he made a complete believer of me in only one day of "trail-riding" with him and his family. I know of no one that he ever met in his lifetime that he disliked. When he tried to help someone and they did not take his advice or help - he felt that he had personally let them down.
Fox, I miss you so much. And I hope you know that I am taking care of Raven and her family - just as I always told you I would. We know you are still with us - in so many, many ways - and we love you with all our hearts.
I remember him being a most thoughtful person . He was always encouraging me to try harder to retain things. After a "doctor" gave me too many drugs a part of my brain was destroyed. It was the part that keeps memories. I've forgotten most of my childhood and my childrens younger lives. He told me not to be bitter - but to forgive - and for the most part I think I have. Thanks to him. Any way I loved him as a friend and mentor and I know he's on the other side of the veil, mentoring others and encourging them to look forward not backward. May God have mercy on his sweet soul.
Raven and Family -- always know that you are all in our prayers at all times. You are - and always have been - family to us. Your dad was a very important figure among the people and I hope one day to be half the person he was. Until we all meet again - we will hold him tightly in our hearts - along with you and your family. We are here if you need us.
Fox was special. Fox was unique. Fox was Fox - and a great man. He is gone from us too soon and yet he still walks with us. He had a generous and loving spirit. And, there were times he would rise - as a warrior - to challenge and question. It always seemed to me that his great and good heart could embrace all that was beautiful in humankind and that his heart was so great he could love you and criticize you and teach you - all at the same time. He was a tireless researcher to help others find their roots. He understood and taught what community means. He taught work, sharing, understanding, responsibility and so much more. I will always miss his "Ha" in my days and I will miss his strength of character. So my dear friend Fox, I send along this greeting to you on the other side and I share with your beloved family the sadness of losing you and the joy of all you brought to their lives and so many others. I will always think of you as friend. I will always remember your lessons.
With deep respect old friend, Cheryl Rhoden
MEW
I never met Fox in life , he was such a knowledgeable man.
There is a loss in this world of his wisdom.
I am so glad I knew him through the technology of the computer.
I learned much from him.
I pray that when it is my time to cross over we will meet at last.
There is nothing more powerful than the truth. This man spoke from his heart - and every word was felt in ours. We have been taught the teachings from a great teacher - who now has passed over to the Spirit World - when there was only a handful of people that used to show up to hear him speak -and take part in his ceremonies. This was going back many, many years. He used to come at least four times a year - or more if called upon. He never once said no.
We heard him share his widsom and knowledge with our people for many years.
Those of us that could - would go for a week of spiritual teachings and sharing that took place. We took the teachings of this good man - and learned to mold them in our way of life. These things did not happen overnight. These beautiful changes took time - but until this day our lifestyle centers around the teachings that he shared with us all those years ago. Now our childern will share these teachings with their families - and those who cross their path in their future.
All will not be in vain.
